Oil prices rose in Asian trade on Wednesday, drawing support from investors' positive outlook on the global economy. New York's light sweet crude for rose 16 cents to 77.10 dollars a barrel. Brent North Sea crude was 35 cents higher at 77.45 dollars a barrel.
