Oil prices up in Asian trade

Oil prices rose in Asian trade today on news that commitments to back a Greek debt swap had passed a key threshold. New York's main contract, West Texas Intermediate crude for delivery in April, gained 20 cents to 106.78 dollars per barrel while Brent North Sea crude also for April was up 15 cents at 125.59 dollars in morning trade.
