Oil prices rose in Asian trade today. New York's light sweet crude gained 58 cents in morning trade to quote at 75.01 dollars a barrel.Brent North Sea crude was up 63 cents to 73.74 dollars a barrel.Analysts said bullish US manufacturing data combined with gains in Asian equities markets to push the market up.
