Oil prices slide to near 82 dollars a barrel today in Asia amid concerns over the global economy recovery. Benchmark crude was down 19 cents to 82.25 dollars a barrel. The contract lost 1.76 dollars to settle at 82.44 dollars a barrel on Tuesday.
