Oil prices today rose, recovering some ground after two days of losses, as markets braced for the imposition of U.S. sanctions on Iran next week and stock markets clawed back some of their recent losses.

Brent crude prices, in intra day trade today, were trading around 76 dollars and 50 cents per barrel while WTI prices were at around 66 dollars and 40 cents when reports last came in.
