Oil prices remain steady as US stimulus hopes offset worries over Covid-19

Oil prices today remained steady, with demand worries due to a rise in coronavirus cases worldwide undermining the support coming from hopes of additional U.S. stimulus measures.

In intra-day trade, Brent crude prices were trading around 43 dollars and 50 cents per barrel while WTI crude prices were around 41 dollars and 40 cents per barrel.
