Oil prices reached a fresh one-year high near 76 dollars a barrel today in Asia on a weaker US dollar and growing investor optimism about an economic recovery. Benchmark crude for November delivery was up 72 cents to 75.90 dollars, the highest since October 2008, on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
