Oil prices fall in Asian trade

Oil fell in Asian trade today with New York's main contract, light sweet crude for October delivery ping 67 cents to 70.26 dollars a barrel. Brent North Sea crude for November delivery was down 76 cents to 69.10 dollars a barrel.br/br/Analysts say the fall comes as investors await the release of the widely monitored US energy data report. The US weekly inventory report is seen as an indicator of oil demand in the world's biggest energy user.
