Oil prices fell in Asian trade today. New York's light sweet crude was down 17 cents to 75.60 dollars a barrel in morning trade while Brent North Sea crude fell 30 cents to 76.63 dollars a barrel. Analysts said investors were taking profits because of concerns over the global economic outlook for the second half of the year, which could impact on energy demand.
