Oil prices rose today as the International Energy Agency (IEA) joined the producer group OPEC in forecasting relatively strong growth in global oil demand this year.
In intra-day trade, Brent crude was trading 0.13 percent higher at 77 dollars and 98 cents per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude was also trading up 0.30 percent at 72 dollars and 78 cents per barrel when reports last came in.
