Oil price up in Asian trade

Oil prices were up in Asian trade today. New York's light sweet crude gained a cent to 86.37 dollars a barrel while Brent North Sea crude two cents to 102.61 dollars a barrel. Analysts said persistent tensions in the Middle East and North Africa continued to push prices higher.
