Oil prices were lower in Asian trade today. New York's light sweet crude fell 45 cents to 112.41 dollar per barrel while London's Brent North Sea crude lost 17 cents to 124.85 dollars per barrel. Analysts said the fall in crude prices was due to slump in the first-quarter GDP in the United States and rise in jobless claims.
