Brent crude hit an eight-month high in Asian trade today after Iran halted its limited oil sales to France and Britain in what analysts said, was a game of political brinkmanship. Brent North Sea crude for April delivery, gained 1.52 dollars to 121.10 dollars in the morning trade. New York's main contract, West Texas Intermediate light sweet crude for March delivery, rose 1.70 dollars to 104.94 dollars per barrel.
