Oil prices were higher in Asian trade today. New York's light sweet crude rose 14 cents to 76.65 dollars a barrel while Brent North Sea crude was 19 cents higher at 76.66 dollars a barrel.Analysts said investors drew positives from the latest US labour data which could augur well for oil demand in the world's largest energy-consuming nation.
