Global crude oil prices rose for a fifth straight day, today, with Brent at its highest since October 2018 and heading for 80 dollars a barrel amid supply concerns as demand picks up in parts of the world with the easing of pandemic restrictions.
So, Brent crude jumped 1 dollar and 15 cents to trade at 79.24 dollars a barrel. US crude Oil added 1 dollar and 7 cents, to 75.05 dollars a barrel.
Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs raised its forecast for Brent crude by the end of this year to 90 dollars per barrel.
