Oil prices fell in Asia today as crude demand suffered from refinery shutdowns in the US Gulf Coast due to the onset of Tropical Storm Isaac. New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in October fell 14 cents to 95.33 dollar a barrel and Brent North Sea crude for October delivery shed 46 cents to 111.80 dollar. Crude prices were facing downward pressure as Tropical Storm Isaac shuttered refineries on the US Gulf Coast, cutting demand for crude.
