Oil declines for fifth session in a row to trade below 42 dollars a barrel

Oil today declined for the fifth session in a row to trade below 42 dollars a barrel. Crude prices fell amid concerns that a recovery in demand could weaken as Covid-19 infections are going up around the world.

In intra-day trade, Brent crude prices were trading around 41 dollars and 90 cents per barrel while WTI crude prices were around 37 dollars and 90 cents per barrel.
