Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has asked officers and civil servants to come with out of the box ideas to ensure proper delivery of services. <br/><br/>Interacting with participants of the 43rd Advanced Professional Programme in Public Administration of IIPA in New Delhi today, Mr Naidu said, uplifting the poorest of the poor must be the priority. He asked officers to have a pro-poor, pro-rural, pro-weaker section approach, while implementing policies. <br/><br/>He said, the governance systems must keep the people at the centre of their functioning, they must think in terms of delivery. The Vice President said, officials should be competent, creative and pro-active and they must encourage people's participation in governance. He also said, no scheme can be successful without people's participation.
