<span style="color: #222222;">Odisha has been witnessing a sustained decline in daily COVID-19 cases. A total of 4,852 people were reported COVID positive on Saturday as against more than five thousand cases daily for about the last fifty days. The state has also reported the recovery of as many as 8,516 patients during the last 24 hours.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Odisha has cumulatively tested more than  1.25 crore samples till date, resulting in a combined total of above 8.73 lakh COVID-19 positive cases. But the sustained slide back in daily cases has taken the active caseload of the state down to about 62 thousand as on date. However, COVID-19 fatalities continue to stay put in the range of 40 to 50 per day with as many as 47 patients succumbing to the virus during the last 24 hours alone.</span><br />''  <br />
