In Odisha, about 1.5 lakh youths of Sheduled casts and Scheduled tribes will be given placement-linked skill development training.Chief Minister Naveen Patnaiksaid in Bhubaneswar today that the training will be given over the next next five years and it will will help them get jobs. Presiding over a SC Welfare Advisory Board meeting, Patnaik also announced hike in pre-matric scholarship to 620 rupees for boys per month and 650 rupees for girls. The inreased scholarsihp will be given from from last July 2012.
