Odisha government will condut a survey in the mining areas of Keonjhar and Sundergarh districts to check illegal mining.A senior official in Steel and Mines department today said that the survey using scientific modalities will be carried out in Joda mining circle in Keonjhar and Koida mining circle in Sundergarh districts.The government has come under attack from the opposition on illegal mining in recent times. It had been alleged that most mines owners undertake mining outside their lease areas.
