The talks between the Odisha government and the representatives of Odisha Maoists Organization resumed on Wednesday. The home secretary U N Behera, Panchayat Raj Secretary Pradeep Jena and Santosh Sarangi held talks with the Maoist representatives Dandapani Mohanty and B D Sharma.The Andhra Odisha Zonal Committee of Maoists who abducted the MLA, have set deadline till Thursday to fulfill their demands.Meanwhile, the state legislative assembly on Wednesday passed a resolution appealing Maoists to release the MLA Jhina Hikaka and the Italian national Paolo Bosusco.
