Odisha Home Secretary says, he has unconfirmed reports of Malkangiri Dsitrict Collector R.V.Krishna being released near the cut off Duliamba forest area. Malkangir Superintendent of Police, Anirudha Singh, also said he has reports of Maoists releasing Malkangiri collector but can't confirm it unless policemen posted there, see Krishna physically. The Malkangiri collector was kidnapped by the Maoists from the hilly terrains of Chitrakonda in Malkangiri district on February 16 last along with junior engineer Pabitra Mohan Majhi. Majhi was released yesterday by the Maoists at Malkangiri.
