<span style="color: #222222;">Odisha government is working on a war-footing to prevent the further spread of novel Corona virus. It has directed Panchayats to be equipped completely to handle corona virus cases and set up exclusive COVID-19 centres. The government has provided 5 lakh rupees to every Panchayat to expedite quarantine facilities and procurement of materials for temporary health camps, hiring ambulances and provision of food. AIR correspondent reports that the Odisha government is working hard to build up temporary health camps and facilities required for isolation centre at Panchayat level to deal with Corona virus cases.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Hand washing facilities are pursued on a sustainable basis and awareness materials are also made using the locally available resources. ASHAs have been asked to monitor health conditions and report to the administration on daily basis. Under the National Social Assistance Programme, the government has directed the officials and Anganwadi Workers to deliver "Take Home Ration" and ration for "Hot Cooked Meal" at door steps of the beneficiaries. On the other hand, Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik announced that about 200 poorest of the poor people identified in every gram Panchayat would be served cooked food daily during the lockdown period. Most of GPs are arranging "community feast" on their village schools and community centres to needy people with maintaining social distancing norm.</span><br />
