<span style="color: #222222;">Odisha government has issued fresh covid-19 guidelines for March 2021. The guidelines reiterate the government's thrust on basic covid-19 containment measures like social distancing, face masking and hand sanitizing along with other do's and don'ts.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports that in order to prevent large gatherings from being the grounds for viral resurgence, the state government has allowed a maximum of 500 persons in all sorts of social religious and cultural congregations including marriage and funeral. However, for opera and open-air theatre, the maximum number of spectators is capped at 2000.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, the state has already administered more than 6 lakh vaccine shots to the prioritised beneficiaries, even as it prepares to partake of the nationwide vaccination of senior citizens and those above 45 years of age with the co-morbidities, beginning tomorrow. </span><br />''  <br />
