Odisha government has signed a lease agreement with Falcon Marine Exports for the operation of Jagatjore Shrimp Culture Project in coastal Kendrapara district.Odisha's Fisheries and Animal Resource Development Minister Pradeep Kumar Maharathy said the the government decided to go for long term lease agreement with Falcon Marine Exports, who was the highest bidder, to revive the project.The Project executed in 2000 had become defunct as only crop was partially successful, he said. The lease period will be for 15 years which, will fetch a revenue of 13 crore rupees to the government, the minister added.
