In Odisha, the water level in all the rivers except Baitarani is receding as the death toll due to rains and floods climbed to 45.
Despite recession of water, flood situation still remained grim in the delta zone of Mahanadi river system amid fresh rains.
A press release issued by the state Relief Commissioner's office Sunday evening said that 33 lakh people have been affected by floods and over 4.87 people are marooned.

The MET office at Bhubaneswar has predicted rain and thundershower at most places over north Odisha and a few places over southern parts of the state during next 24 hours under the influence of low pressure.
