Odisha emerges as no. 1 investment destination in the country

<span style="color: black;">Odisha has emerged as the number one investment destination in the country. Addressing the people of the State after hoisting the national flag at the exhibition ground in Bhubaneswar today, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that during the last 6 months the State has received an investment proposal worth Rs 12,000 crore. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Remembering the sacrifice made by the country's freedom fighters, security personnel and COVID Warriors, the Chief Minister said that the government has taken all measures to effectively fight the pandemic while sustaining economic activities. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">He said, the agricultural growth rate in the State has clocked 7.61 per cent which is far ahead of the national average of 2.80 per cent.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">AIR Correspondent reports, making a special reference to the immense contribution of the COVID Warriors in the fight against COVID-19,  Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, in his address, was categorical in stating that not a single COVID-19 patient would be deprived of treatment for want of money. Underlying the obvious, Mr Pattnaik said, each human life is invaluable and the State government has been providing free of cost treatment to the COVID-19 patients. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">He said, while the recovery rate of COVID infected persons in the State has been on the rise, the virus linked death rate is among the lowest in the country. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Though the 74th Independence Day celebrations across the State including the one at the State Capital Bhubaneswar were carefully customised to fit into the pandemic protocols, yet the popular spirit of patriotism reigned supreme everywhere.</span><br />
