Odisha has crossed a milestone in vaccinating more than one lakh senior citizens against covid-19 on a single day yesterday. Out of the total one lakh twenty one thousand five hundred seventy two persons who took their jabs yesterday, one lakh two hundred seventy three beneficiaries were people above 60 years of age.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''A report<br />''In keeping with its target of vaccinating one lakh senior citizens per day, Odisha health administration arranged as many as 927 session sites across the state to vaccinate one lakh beneficiaries yesterday. Barring senior citizens, about 5,000 health care workers and above 15 thousand frontline workers were given their second vaccine shots. And with this, Odisha has already delivered vaccine doses close to 13 lakh to the eligible beneficiaries as on date.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, fresh recovery and new case discovery continue their struggle to overpower each other on a daily basis, with the state reporting 66 fresh cases as against 70 recoveries during the last 24 hours.</span><br />
