In Odisha, the Covid-19 recovery rate has improved to 78.47 per cent. With 3217 persons recovering from the infection yesterday, the total recovery in the state has risen to 1,15,279 so far. With 11 fresh fatalities, the death toll has risen to 616. The state's fatality rate stands at 0.42 per cent. The viral vagaries continue to impact the life and liberty of the people in the state. While the virus has been laying its claim on about 10 lives on a daily basis, it has also managed to catch about three to four thousand people offguard  everyday. <br />'' <br />''Yesterday alone, a sizable 3777 people were reported positive making the casecount climb towards the 1.5 lakh mark. The bright patch in the state's fight against the virus however lies in only about 21% cases of the cumulative caseload remaining active on any given day for the last so many days. With the virus showing no signs of signing off anytime soon,  the state government has been appealing people not to lower their guards especially in view of the viral surge in districts like Khordha and Cuttack. <br />
