In Odisha, COVID-19 recoveries have crossed the 30 thousand mark after 1 thousand 544 patients from 28 districts were discharged from hospital during the past 24 hours. On the other hand, the state government has allowed private hospitals to treat corona patients.<br />'' <br />'' In Odisha, Of 1 thousand 544 patients discharged from different COVID hospitals, the highest 560 patients were recovered from Ganjam besides 203 from Khordha, and 143 from Koraput have been discharged from the hospital.&nbsp; After 30 thousand 242 COVID recoveries, Odisha has now 13 thousand 644 active cases.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, in view of the COVID -19 pandemic the state health and family Welfare Department has issued a guideline for provisioning a Covid-19 unit in private hospitals with 30 or more beds. As per the notification issued by the department, the private hospitals willing to treat COVID patients have been directed to designate 10% isolation beds in this regard.<br />'' <br />'' The state government, however, cautioned private hospitals not to collect excessive fees. According to the guideline, &nbsp;all asymptomatic or mild cases shall be sent to institutional quarantine or home isolation, or a paid COVID Care Centre run by the hospital. There must be a separate fever clinic and facility for the isolation of suspected cases.<br />'' <br />'' The government has clarified that only those patients who want to pay on their own or covered under their own insurance shall be treated in the hospital. No reimbursement or payment of any kind towards the treatment of such patients will be made by the &nbsp;state government.&nbsp;<br />
