Odisha COVID-19 positive cases cross 3 lakh mark

<span style="color: #222222;">In Odisha, Covid-19 positive case count has crossed 3 lakh mark. With 1372 fresh cases reported during the last 24 hours, the cumulative number of covid positive persons in the state has increased to 3,00140. On the other hand, a total of 2,86,857 patients have also recovered from the infection so far.<br />''<br />''In terms of covid-19 caseload, while Khordha- the district playing host to Capital Bhubaneswar, tops the list with about 50 thousand cases from out of the total 3 lakh plus cases, the adjoining Cuttack district comes second with about half as many cases. In terms of fatalities too,  Khordha is ahead of the rest 29 districts with as many as 245 deaths out of the total 1410 fatalities so far. <br />''<br />''However, with the sustained recovery of about 1500 patients on a daily basis as of now, the active caseload has slumped brown below 14 thousand, with about 75% of the positive cases convascelling in the comfort of home isolation. Meanwhile, the state government has authorised the district collectors and municipal commissioners to decide on the number of persons to be allowed in any marriage function in their respective jurisdiction, keeping however unchanged the uppermost cap of 200 invitees. </span><br />
