Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal president Naveen Patnaik got injured on Thursday morning after slipping near his residence at Bhubaneswar. The ligament in his right ankle has been affected.The Chief Minister has been advised by the doctors attending him to take rest at home. All his official engagements at state secretariat on Thursday and visit to Angul district on Friday have been cancelled following the injury to Naveen Patnaik.
