Odisha Chief Minister and BJD President Naveen Patnaik has convened an urgent meeting of party Ministers, MPs and MLAs at Bhubaneswar to discuss the political crisis facing the party. He is likely to take a decision about the rebels who tried to topple his government during his tour to United Kingdom. Naveen Patnaik's loyalist party ministers, MPs and MLAs gave him a warm reception at the airport after his arrival in Bhubaneswar last night. Thousands of workers demanded disciplinary action against BJD Parliamentary Party leader in Rajya Sabha Pyari Mohan Mohapatra, a number of ministers and MLAs who reportedly joined the rebels meeting in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday night.Meanwhile, three rebel ministers in the Naveen Patnaik Cabinet, Sarada Prasad Nayak, Sanjeeb Sahu and Anjali Behera, and a number of party MLAs did not attend the reception ceremony of the BJD President at the airport. They also did not participate in the informal BJD legislature party meeting held at the residence of the Chief Minister last night.
