In Odisha, the Special Chief Judicial Magistrate court of Bhubaneswar today granted a six-day remand of Mayurbhanj BJD MP Ramchandra Hansda and two former MLAs, Hitesh Bagartti and Subarna Nayak, to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for further interrogation in the multi-crore chit fund scam.

The three politicians were held by CBI for allegedly having links with a chit fund company Naba Diganta Capital Services yesterday. Before being taken to the court, medical examinations of the three arrested political leaders were done by a team of doctors.
