<span style="color: #222222;">In Odisha, Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy reviewed the Multi-Departmental Call-Centre which has been set-up at Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar, for helping Odias stranded in different states across the country yesterday. The call-centre has been upgraded with 20 dedicated lines and receiving around 1,900 calls in a day. The most number of calls are being received from Odia people in distress in five states – Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telengana, Gujarat and Maharashtra, he said.<br />'' <br />'' More than 15,000 people, most of them belong to Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Ganjam and Jajpur districts are stranded in different states. Among others, Home Secretary Sanjeev Chopra, Inspector General of Police (Opreations) Amitabh Thakur, Officer on Special Duty to Chief Secretary on COVID-19, Vishal Dev were present during the visit.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, Primary school students in the state have been declared passed without examination. Students of Classes I to VIII in the state-run schools of the state have declared pass without any examination by the State Government. The annual exams were cancelled midway this year to contain the spread of Corona virus.<br />'' <br />'' Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash informed media today that all the students except Class-IX were declared passed without annual examinations this academic session due to COVID-19 situation. The decision on conducting the remaining one paper of Class IX will be taken once the crisis subsides, he said.<br />''<br />''The Minister assured students, who have appeared for Annual Matric Examination-2020 and Plus-2 Examination, that all the answer sheets are safe and being kept at the evaluation centres amid tight security.</span><br />
