Odisha is celebrating its seventy-seventh foundation day today. It was on this day in 1936 that Odisha was formed on linguistic basis. Several cultural functions are being organized in the state to mark the occasion. State Governor Muralidhar Chadrakant Bhandare and chief minister Naveen Patnaik have wished the people on the occasion.
