In Odisha, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today made a major reshuffle in his Cabinet. He dropped five ministers and inducted nine MLAs bringing an end to all speculations to the reports of a coup against him by his former mentor and suspended BJD MP in Rajya Sabha Pyarimohan Mohaptra.Naveen Patnaik asked the five ministers in the morning , including finance minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadei,to tender their resignations. The ministers were reportedly loyalist of Pyari Mohan Mohapatra.Among the newly inducted ministers three were given Cabinet portfolio while six others have been inducted ministers of state. The oath was administered by Governor MC Bhandare at the Raj Bhawan.
