In Odisha, the Naveen Patnaik led Biju Janata Dal BJD candidate retains the south odisha, Umorkot seat in the bye poll .Counting for the bye poll was held today in headquarter of Nabrangpur district. The ruling party BJD won this reserved seat by 21 thousand 61 hundred votes than its nearest rival BJP candidate. Biju Janata Dal candidate Mr. Subash Gond won this seat by getting 54 thousand 713 votes, out of total valid one laksh 21 thousand 242 votes.
