Odisha: BSF to launch boat ambulance service in Malkangiri on Republic Day

<span style="color: #222222;">Border Security Force (BSF) will start boat ambulance service from Swabhiman Anchal zone in Malkangiri district of Odisha from tomorrow on the occasion of Republic Day. Addressing a press conference at Raipur in Chhattisgarh yesterday, the Additional Director General of BSF and Chief of Chhattisgarh-Odisha Region, RS Bhatti said that about thirty thousand people living in around 150 villages of the area will be benefited from this initiative.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports, BSF Additional Director General R.S. Bhatti said that the Border Security Force is playing an important role in anti-Maoist operations in Chhattisgarh and Odisha, besides strengthening the sense of security amongst the local citizens and facilitating development activities in LWE areas.<br />''<br />''BSF organized forty-six medical camps last year in Kanker and Narayanpur districts of Chhattisgarh and the interior areas of Malkangiri and Koraput districts of Odisha.<br />''<br />''Along with this, essential commodities worth about three crore rupees were also made available to the people living in rural areas of these districts.<br />''<br />''Apart from this, BSF organized a tour to various historical and cultural places of the country for more than two hundred and fifty tribal boys and girls of Chhattisgarh and Odisha last year under the Tribal Youth Exchange Program. </span><br />
