The injured have been admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital at Baripada. All the victims and injured are reported to be members of a local opera group. Police and fire service personnel of nearby police and fire stations immediately rushed to the spot to carry out the rescue operation. The fire personnel used gas cutters to retrieve the bodies and rescue the injured persons.
