The house saw repeated adjournments on both the days with the opposition demanding the immediate resignation of the state agriculture minister Arun Sahu for allegedly shielding the main accused in minor's murder case.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the Speaker adjourned the house till 3 p.m. after the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik acceded to the demand of handing over the case to a Special Investigation Team.<br />'' </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The four-month old brutal murder of a 5 year old girl named 'Pari' came to hunt the state government with the self-immolation bid of the girl's parents in front of the state assembly a couple of days ago. Having been clued in by the victim's parents, the opposition has been mounting pressure on the government to remove the state agriculture minister for allegedly giving protection to the chief suspect in the murder case.<br />'' </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The state government's handing over of the case to the crime branch of the state police has failed to pacify the frayed tempers of the opposition BJP and Congress, with the former upping its ante against the government, both inside and outside the house.
