There is no further progress in the hostage crisis in Odhisa. A letter released to press by the Maoists Group who has abducted the MLA Jhina Hikaka has reiterated its demand to release their 30 prisoners. In an another abduction case, maoist leader, Sabyasachi Panda holding the Italian national as hostage has said that its group is yet to receive the agreement on 13 point charter of demands finalised . He however welcomed the move of the Odisha Government to release the five prisoners. The Chief Minister, Mr. Naveen Patnaik has again appealed the maoists to release the abducted people with out any harm.
