In Odisha, the 62nd Republic Day is being celebrated all over the State with much enthusiasm and fanfare. The Governor, Mr Muralidhar Chandrakant Bhandare hoisted the tricolour and took salute at Mahatma Gandhi Marg in Bhubaneswar. 83 colourful troupes from different police bands, security forces, NCC, scouts, Red Cross, schools, colleges and fire brigade participated in the glittering function that lasted for about two hours. Elaborate security arrangements were made for the celebrations.
