Australia has won the first final of ODI tri series by 15 runs. Chasing a target of 322 runs set by Australia, Sri Lanka were all out for 306 runs in 49.2 overs in the first final of tri-nation ODI Cricket series at Brisbane. Australia made 321 for 6 in their stipulated 50 overs. D A Warner was the highest scorer with 163 runs off 157 balls. Earlier hosts won the toss and elected to bat first. There will be a best of three finals. India crashed out of the tournament, after Sri Lanka defeated Australia in the last league match.
