<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched one lakh crore rupees Agriculture Infrastructure Fund under PM- Kisan scheme. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Modi said this will make farmers self-sufficient.</span><br />'' <br />'' He said, this will also provide a debt financing facility to farmers. Mr Modi said, for post harvest management infrastructure and community farming assets, the fund will act as a catalyst.<br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Prime minister said, it will create storage facilities in rural areas and more jobs will be created. Earlier, the Prime Minister released the sixth instalment of the PM-Kisan Yojana fund of 17000 crore rupees to support farmers. Mr Modi also interacted with kisans of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.&nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' Home Minister Amit Shah expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for launching the one lakh crore rupees Agriculture Infrastructure Fund approved by the cabinet. He also thanked the Prime Minister for transferring 17 thousand crore rupees to the accounts of 8.5 Crore farmers under 'PM-Kisan' for the development of agriculture sector and rural areas.<br />'' <br />'' In a series of tweets, Mr Shah said, the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund will accelerate the creation of many infrastructure projects such as cold storage, collection centers, processing units so that farmers can get the true value for their produce. He said this will generate new employment opportunities and will also strengthen the rural economy.<br />'' <br />'' The Home Minister further added that agriculture is the foundation of the Indian economy and the Modi government has been striving to strengthen it for the last six years. He emphasized that many unprecedented steps have been taken for doubling the income of farmers and for the development of the agriculture sector.<br />'' </span><br />
