The US President Barack Obama has vowed to break the Taliban's momentum. Addressing a joint press conference with British Prime Minister David Cameroon in Washington, Obama said terrorists trained in Afghanistan and the tribal regions along the Pakistani border have killed innocent civilians in the US and the UK. He also termed the fight in Afghanistan as a difficult but at the same time “a necessary one”. Obama expressed confidence that they had the right strategy. Talking about the recalling of troops, Obama said the transfer of some of the American troops from the war torn Afghanistan would begin in July2011.
