President Barack Obama has urged his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao to resume dialogue with the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama. Speaking alongside Mr. Hu after wide ranging talks in Beijing Mr. Obama said they had also discussed the sensitive issue on Human Rights.<br/>For his part, Mr.Hu said he had stressed the need for China and the United States to reject all forms of economic protectionism. With President Hu by his side Presdent Obama acknowledged that Tibet is an integral part of China. But he encouraged his Chinese host to continue negotiations with the exiled Tibetan leader the Dalai Lama.<br/>The Buddhist monk wants greater autonomy for Tibet. But China says he is trying to form a breakaway state. The two leaders agreed on March on tackling climate change on the global economic recovery. But on Human Rights there is still a deep divide.<br/><br/>
