The White House has announced that President Barack Obama plans to be in Copenhagen at the end of the UN climate conference and not in the beginning. President Obama originally planned to be at the talks on December 9, two days after they begin. The statement said the President believes continued US leadership can be most productive through his participation at the end of the summit. US Officials says progress may be possible following recent steps taken by several countries including India and China. The British Prime Minister Gordon Brown says the President's decision will give huge impetus in the Copenhagen negotiations.
