US President Barack Obama will hold tri-nation talks on the Middle East peace process this week with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas. The White House announced in a surprise move late Saturday, that Obama will meet separately with the two leaders tomorrow on the sidelines of the United Nations general assembly, before hosting a trilateral summit. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said the talks will lay the groundwork for the re launch of negotiations for peace in the Middle East region.
